, getrouwd met Agnes, we hebben vier getrouwde kinderen, zeven kleinkinderen, een 'pleegzoon' en een toypoedel.
Inmiddels gepensioneerd, ben ik in chronologische volgorde door het leven getrokken als: PABO-student en student theologie -beide met specialisatie muziek-, kerkelijk muziekleider, pr-functionaris, donateurs- en fondsenwerver, applicatie- en databasebeheerder ter ondersteuning van de fondsenwerving en nu...
ben ik weer terug aan de tekentafel: het scheppen met woorden, muziek en beelden! Dat betekent componeren van muziek en schrijven van gedichten en liederen, ideeën, gedachten, verhalen, fiction en waargebeurde, en fotograferen.

Vandaag de dag worden mijn muzikale uitingen, meestal improvisaties op de piano, vaak gekarakteriseerd als Einoudi-achtig, maar het is aan jou hoe jij ze zou willen beschrijven.

Toch zal menigeen zich verbazen over mijn nieuwe inzichten en uitingen op het muzikale smallekoord van een x-aantal balken met 5 lijntjes en met heel veel zwarte en witte bolletjes.

De ontdekking van een muziek-schrijf-programma als MuseScore helpt mij om al mijn improvisaties van de afgelopen jaren, plus nieuwe stukken uit te werken tot bladmuziek.

Mijn droom was en mijn wens is om al mijn muziek toegankelijk te maken voor luisteraar en pianist, door het op schrift te zetten, notenschrift, rechtstreeks vanuit de digitale opnames van improvisaties. Vervolgens wil ik dit beschikbaar stellen voor een breed publiek, zodat deze klanken nooit meer verloren gaan, maar ook later nog tot nieuw leven mogen komen. En door MuseScore is voor mij de orkestrale verbreding van mijn muziek mogelijk geworden. Kijk en luister maar, als je op de startknop ► van een muziekstuk klikt.

Ik hoop met deze site een inspiratie te zijn voor jong en oud, en een stimulans voor jou als je nog niet weet wat je met al die vrijetijd aanmoet, die je denkt te krijgen na je pensionering. Maak van je hobby je levenslust, dan zullen nog veel mensen van je genieten, en jij van het leven.

Het is mijn verlangen om een sponsoring budget te genereren met de verkoop van mijn boeken, muziek en foto's, waarmee ik o.a. bepaalde goede doelen kan gaan ondersteunen.

I'm back to the drawing table: creating with words, music and pictures! That is composing music and writing poems and songs, ideas, thoughts, fiction and true stories, and photography.

Nowadays my musical expressions – mostly improvisations on the piano – are often characterized as Einoudi-esque, but it's upto you how you want to describe them.

The discovery of a music writing program like MuseScore helps me to transcribe all my improvisations from the past years and newly made, into sheet music.

My dream was and my wish is, to make all my music accessible to listener and pianist, by putting it in ‘on paper’, in musical notation, directly from the digital recordings of my improvisations. Then I want to make this available to a wide audience, so that these sounds never get lost, but can also come to new life later.
